Democrats, put the champagne down.
Some of you watched my recent video explaining why I could never vote for Donald Trump again, and you immediately assumed I had finally “seen the light.”
You thought I regretted voting for Trump instead of a Democrat.
You thought my anger over the Epstein Files meant I was preparing to crawl across the political aisle, apologize for my past votes and join the liberal resistance.
Let me clear that up right now:
Donald Trump losing my vote does not mean Democrats have earned it.
Republicans do not own my vote, and Democrats do not automatically inherit it just because Republicans betrayed my trust.
The Epstein Files Destroyed My Trust in Trump
When I look at Donald Trump today, I no longer see someone I trust to protect families like mine.
I see a man whose handling of the Epstein Files left me believing that power, money and political connections may matter more than protecting daughters like mine.
That is my personal judgment—not a criminal allegation. But voting is an act of trust, and that trust is gone.
To be completely accurate, Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November 2025. The Justice Department later announced that its releases had reached nearly 3.5 million pages, along with thousands of videos and approximately 180,000 images. The official DOJ Epstein Library continues to house the released material.
I am not going to lie and claim that nothing was released.
But a massive document dump is not the same thing as accountability.
The DOJ itself says some material was withheld because of legal privileges and other permitted exceptions. It also warns that a person’s name may appear in the records for many different reasons. Being named in the Epstein Files is not proof that somebody committed a crime.
My demand has never been to recklessly accuse everyone whose name appears on a piece of paper. My demand is for an honest investigation, legitimate prosecutions wherever evidence supports them and proof that no wealthy or politically connected person received special protection.
I do not care whether that person is a Republican, Democrat, billionaire, celebrity, foreign leader or somebody wearing a red hat.
Protect the children or get out of the way.
Democrats Should Not Confuse My Anger With Regret
My rejection of Trump is not a Democratic conversion story.
I do not regret refusing to support a political movement that often seemed determined to make parents the enemy whenever they questioned what schools, activists, doctors or government agencies were telling their children.
I will not support policies that deliberately sideline a parent while a minor considers life-altering medical transition procedures, aka “gender-affirming care.
A political party that demands blind trust around children has learned nothing from the Epstein Files.
Socialism Still Does Not Become Sensible Because Trump Failed
Democrats also should not assume that rejecting Trump means I suddenly support socialism.
I do not.
The version of socialism marketed to Americans usually comes wrapped in promises of free college, free healthcare, free housing, guaranteed income and endless government programs.
But government does not create “free.”
Government collects, borrows, prints or redistributes.
You cannot redistribute an empty warehouse.
The IMF describes capitalism as an economic system built around private ownership and market-based decisions. Meanwhile, the generous social programs of Nordic countries are supported by productive economies, high employment, broad taxation and widespread participation in paid work.
That is the part American socialists conveniently leave out.
Their version of socialism needs workers earning paychecks, businesses making profits and consumers purchasing products so the government has something to tax.
In other words, the redistribution system needs the productive system it constantly attacks.
Capitalism absolutely can become corrupt. It becomes corrupt when corporations buy politicians, monopolies destroy competition and wealthy insiders receive privileges that ordinary businesses could never obtain.
But handing more authority to the same government already controlled by powerful interests does not eliminate corruption.
It may simply give the corrupt people a larger weapon.
The problem is not that ordinary Americans are allowed to own businesses, earn profits or build wealth. The problem is that the people at the top have manipulated the system so thoroughly that their losses are socialized while their profits remain private.
That is not free-market capitalism.
That is an elite protection racket.
Republicans Protect Their Powerful People Too
Republicans shouldn’t celebrate either.
You cannot call yourself the party of family values and then demand silence when powerful people might be embarrassed.
You cannot tell fathers that their job is to protect their daughters while suggesting they should stop asking questions because the questions could hurt the party.
You cannot preach law and order while treating accountability as optional for wealthy insiders.
Republicans spent years telling Americans that the Epstein Files would expose the corruption of the elite. The moment transparency became politically inconvenient, too many Republican influencers suddenly discovered patience, nuance and a desperate desire to change the subject.
I noticed.
So did millions of other people.
My principles did not change. The party failed to live up to the principles it claimed to represent.
The Real Battle Is Top Versus Bottom
This is why I am no longer convinced that America’s defining political battle is left versus right.
It is top versus bottom.
It is the elite crowd versus the people.
The people at the top have expensive lawyers, private schools, private security, exclusive doctors, political connections and access to officials from both parties.
The rest of us get inflation, declining communities, culture-war distractions and another election commercial explaining why everything will collapse unless we vote for the slightly less offensive side.
Democrats tell you Republicans are the enemy.
Republicans tell you Democrats are the enemy.
Meanwhile, donors continue donating, lobbyists continue writing legislation, military contractors continue receiving contracts and working Americans continue paying the bill.
It is political professional wrestling.
The performers pretend to hate each other in front of the cameras, but the most powerful people still belong to the same private club.
I Would Rather Be Politically Homeless
My opinions have remained consistent.
I believe parents should protect their children.
I believe powerful people must be held accountable.
I believe capitalism should create opportunity rather than government-protected monopolies.
I believe the government should serve the people—not donors, corporations, intelligence agencies, foreign interests or political parties.
And I believe the Epstein Files represent one of the clearest tests of whether our justice system serves ordinary people or protects an elite class.
Trump failed that test in my eyes.
Democrats have failed plenty of other tests.
So no, liberals, I am not coming home to your party.
And no, Republicans, fear of Democrats will not force me to surrender my principles and vote for someone I no longer trust.
Right now, voting left or voting right feels like voting for two departments inside the same corporation.
I would rather be politically homeless than allow either party to own me.
Because my loyalty does not belong to a politician.
It belongs to my children, my principles and the American people.
