Honestly, I'm just a man. Someone's who's trying to do right by his children and working hard to be a better man and father. It's easy to sit back, see the wrongs in this world and do nothing. I guess I just don't want my kids to grow up as products of my own bad decisions. They deserve the best and in everything I do, I do for them; to protect them, to teach them and to hopefully serve as they type of man and father they can be proud of. Yes, I am America 1st. Not because I hate foreign countries or anyone for that matter. However, just like I wouldn't let my children starve to feed someone else, it's impossible to justify giving money and aid to another country when we still need that money and protection here at home. The country we live in has always been great but if we don't make ourselves the priority and only give after we have taken care of our own, we are going to lose it. What matters to me isn’t politics, slogans, or approval from strangers online. It’s legacy. It’s knowing my children grow up seeing a man who stood for something, protected his family, spoke his truth, and never backed down from doing what he believed was right. At the end of the day, I’m not trying to save the world. I’m trying to make sure my children are strong enough to survive it and proud enough to stand for something greater.
